- Description
- 57K7314, GENERAL PURPOSE PROCESSOR WITH CONTAINER, 19207, - NSN: 2590-01-674-6776 Platform applicability: Abrams M1A2 SEPV3 tank 57K7314, GENERAL PURPOSE PROCESSOR WITH CONTAINER includes: The primary component of 57K7314, GENERAL PURPOSE PROCESSOR WITH CONTAINER is a General Purpose Processor (GPP) circuit card assembly (CCA) and performs general processing operations. The GPP is a circuit card assembly (CCA), GDLS part number 12546258, and is also known as the XPedite7476 3U VPX single board computer (SBC) in Extreme Engineering documents. The GPP is a critical item for the Abrams M1A2 SEPV3 tank Mission Control Unit (MCU), Hull Controller Unit (HCU), and Turret Controller Unit (TCU) under the Abrams Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Program. The GPP shall meet all requirements specified in document SC-SA20516 Product Fabrication Specification (PFS) for the General Purpose Processor (GPP). Key performance requirements found in SC?SA20516 include: The GPP shall be fabricated in accordance with assembly drawing 12546258. The GPP shall not exceed 25 watts of operational power usage. Steady state 12V (Vs1) input current shall not exceed 2.0 amperes. Steady state 3.3V (Vs2) input current shall not exceed 3.0 amperes. Steady state 5V (Vs3) input current shall not exceed 0.5 amperes. The GPP shall contain a minimum of two (2) gigabit Ethernet interfaces according to industry standard IEEE 802.3?2011. The GPP shall be capable of detecting shorts and opens on the GbE interface. The GPP shall include a minimum of 2 GB of volatile memory accessible to the CPU. The GPP shall include a minimum of 8 GB of non?volatile memory accessible to the CPU. The GPP shall include a minimum of two (2) 8 MB non?volatile Flash memory accessible to the CPU and for storing primary and alternative Boot Loaders. The GPP The assembly shall include a minimum of two (2) 8 MB non?volatile Flash memory accessible to the CPU and for storing primary and alternative Boot Loaders. The GPP will be covered by built?in?test (BIT) diagnostics. The GPP weight shall not exceed 3.0 pounds (1.361 kg) Workmanship shall be in accordance with MIL?HDBK?454, Guideline 9, or best commercial practices. The secondary component of the kit is a rugged shipping/storage container for the GPP providing the module protection from natural and man-made environments when not installed in the M1A2 SEPV3 tank.
