INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i).� The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, 1 North Broadway WHITE PLAINS, NY 10601-2335.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. �� (ii)� The solicitation number is W911QX22Q0016.� This acquisition is issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ). �� (iii)� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-02. �� (iv)� The associated NAICS code is 811219. The small business size standard is $22,000,000.00. �� (v)�� The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable):� CLIN 0001 (BASE) 12 Months - Annual preventative maintenance, emergency service, software upgrade and replacement parts for the Government owned preventive maintenance of two (2) Zeiss Xradia 510 and 520 X-ray Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanners. CLIN 0002 (OPTION) 12 months � Annual preventative maintenance, emergency service, software upgrade and replacement parts for the Government owned preventive maintenance of two (2) Zeiss Xradia 510 and 520 X-ray Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanners. CLIN 0003 (DATA) � The Contractor shall submit all data requirements in accordance with the DD Form 1423. �� (vi) �Description of requirements: The Contractor shall perform the necessary work to ensure two (2) Zeiss Xradia 510 and 520 X-ray Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanners are properly serviced and maintained annually on one (1) base year and one (1) option year. Additionally, provide software upgrades on the above mentioned equipment. �� (vii) The period of performance is one (1) base year with one (1) option year starting the day of contract award. The performance of the preventative maintenance shall occur at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.� Acceptance shall be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
