Yes, 36C24622Q0224 has been extended out until 8 AM, Monday 1-24-2022. End of Questions/Answers response for Amendment 36C24622Q0224_3. ___________________________________________________________________________ Combined Synopsis Amendment 36C24622Q0224-3 Executive Conference Room Upgrade The following responses are to vendor questions that were not answered on Amendment 36C26422Q0224_2 and an additional question submitted on 1-18-2022. Questions (Are in black) / Answers: (Responses are in red) 1. Response to Question #2 of Amendment 36C24622Q0224_2. Space between chair rail and ceiling? Depending on the spacing, the 86 display may not fit on wall.   There is 58 from the ceiling to the rail however I ve included a picture of the mounting system behind the current set up. If a bigger screen is installed, it can be mounted away from the existing chair rail. If that is not satisfactory to the vendor, we can have the chair rail removed. (See attached photo ECR5) 2. Response to Question #5 of Amendment 36C24622Q0224_2. Can you please provide details about what type of project s onsite support is required? The solicitation mentioned Onsite but then did not expand.   We want access to troubleshooting service 24/7/365 via email, phone, text, or chat to address any issues that come up. Since this service will not be managed by our local OI&T, we need a company that will be able to remote in and service the system. If a company offers a similar service, it needs to be quoted. We need some type of service contract. 3. We see that in one of the responses, you are looking for all (4) displays to be interactive touch screens. We reviewed this with our engineers in great detail and unfortunately it is not possible to simultaneously have touch capacity and annotation in all (4) displays AND have the same content repeated on all (4) displays. Each touch display needs to be driven by its own individual PC which would mean you d need (4) total rack PC s to allow for the annotation/touch functionality on each display. If you did have (4) total rack PC s, you still would not be able to repeat the same signal/content across all (4) displays. Typically, what we d recommend here is to dedicate one display (we d suggest the 86in) as the touch and annotation display which is driven by the rack PC. Then for the (3) remaining 75in displays, we can easily repeat that content/signal from the 86in across the 75in which would essentially serve as confidence monitors. You wouldn t be able to annotate on the 75in displays but you d at least be able to view the content and annotation that is being done on the 86in display. I think the vendor misunderstood the proposal. We want a main interactive screen and a touch screen console to control all the equipment. Whatever is on the main screen needs to be repeated on all screens so all persons in the room can see the same thing. End of Questions/Answers response for Amendment 36C24622Q0224_3. The following responses are to vendor questions that were submitted on 1-12-2022. Questions (Are in black) / Answers: (Responses are in red) 1. If you are able to extend the RFQ through mid to later part of next week, that would be extremely helpful. Yes, the closing date for 36C24622Q0224 has been extended to 8 AM, EST next Friday (1-21-2022). To allow response time to post results of the two questions that are still being reviewed. 2. Space between chair rail and ceiling? Depending on the spacing, the 86 display may not fit on wall.  Spacing is being reverified and results will be posted on Amendment 36C24622Q0224_3. 3.  Will they be using an analog phone line?  The facility is in the process of switching over to VOIP. 4.  Do you need a touch screen? Especially 86 when they have 3 other 75 Displays in the room? Yes, we are requesting for all displays to be touch screens. 5. Can you please provide details about what type of project s onsite support is required? The solicitation mentioned Onsite but then did not expand.   Question has been forwarded for review and response will be posted on Amendment 36C24622Q0224_3. Additional submitted questions from 1-11-2022. Questions (Are in black) / Answers: (Responses are in red) VOIP or POTS line explain what a POTS line POTS line is an analog phone line. Note: The facility is in the process of switching over to VOIP. What is being requested via Parasol is support that can be provided to you without the subscription from Parasol. Would the VA be open to alternatives and allow for us to quote and provide our helpdesk 24x7x365 support instead? Yes, the facility would be open to a similar product. End of Questions/Answers response for Amendment 36C24622Q0224_2. _______________________________________________________________________ The following responses are to vendor questions that were submitted on 1-11-2022.
