Description

NavtechGPS provides technical training in the area of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS). They will provide 2 technical trainings for up to 15 NAWCAD employees in each class. Additional student spots will be made available for additional cost per student. These trainings provide the knowledge, tools, and skills to evaluate Navigation architecture, hardware, software, and security measure to the Systems and Flight Test Engineering workforce, enabling more efficient and effective design and evaluations of Global Positioning System (GPS) and INS systems to meet mission needs. This training provides the knowledge, tools, and skills to evaluate Navigation architecture, hardware, software, and security measure to the Systems and Flight Test Engineering workforce, enabling more efficient and effective design and evaluations of GPS and INS systems to meet mission needs. This training is required to migrate commercial standards, practices, and capabilities into unique military avionic systems. Additionally, providing these courses to NAWCAD employees will keep them on par with their counterparts in the commercial industry. This is particularly relevant as now as both branches have had significant turn over in recent years due to multiple factors.
