Description
The 183d Wing Base Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Quote to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to repair the cracked concrete column on the first floor of Building 1 at the 183d Wing. In 2016, contractors, corrected foundation settlement issues in the corner of the main hangar. The facility was originally constructed in 1950 and is reinforced concrete with masonry infills. There is now a noticeable crack where the concrete corner columns meets the beams in the first floor tool room. Contractor will need to design temporary shoring based on building loads that are sealed by a licensed structural engineer, demolish the damaged section of concrete and inspect the existing rebar, and replace demolished concrete and paint damaged/new surfaces to match surrounding area. The contract duration is 90 days or less after notice to proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000. The magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees� applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is mid-February 2022. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is early-February 2022. The tentative date for the site visit is about mid-February 2022, 1:00PM local time, location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow site visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. The Request for Quote closing date is scheduled tentatively around mid-March 2022. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Interested offerors must be registered in SAM.
