- This is a 100% 8(a) small business set-aside procurement issued under NAICS code 561210, Facilities Support Services by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (MVK). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District has the continued responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the Mississippi Lakes Flood Control Projects at Arkabutla, Enid, Grenada and Sardis located in the state of Mississippi.�� Corps resources and interest in the Mississippi Flood Control projects within the state of Mississippi. a broad variety of operations, routine and non-routine maintenance, repair, inspection, reconstruction, modernization and rehabilitation of project facilities, water control structures and features at four large flood control reservoirs managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, Upper Yazoo River Basin region of the Mississippi Delta. Many of the types of operations, maintenance, and repair activities that are included in the scope of this contract include but no limited to:� Heavy Equipment Maintenance/Repairs; Recreation Area and Facility Cleaning; Solid Waste Collection, Transport, and Disposal; Visitor Center Operations and Maintenance; Graffiti Removal; Carpentry; Erosion Control Activities; Buoy Placement and Maintenance; Painting; Heating/Air Conditioning Services and repair maintenance; Masonry Repair; Landscaping; Wildlife and Fisheries Habitat Enhancement; Flood Control Structure Repairs and Maintenance; Road Maintenance/Repairs, tree trimming and removal due to breaks; security equipment maintenance; and unplanned & unscheduled maintenance.�The Government intends to award a single performance-based five-year contract, Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) with some Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) line items. The Request for Proposal will be available on the Contract Opportunities Web Page at https://sam.gov/. Offerors may register on the Interested Vendor�List (IVL) at https://sam.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hard copies will not be available. Offerors should check often for changes (amendments). Solicitation issue date is expected to be on or around 15 February 2021. The Solicitation response due date will be established at a later time.
