- ***Amendment 001** The purpose of this amendment is to include an amended combined synopsis/solicitation, and answer the follwoing vendor questions: 1. When do you think awards will be issued? FEMA intends to issue awards as soon as possible after the closing of the solicitation. 2.�Can we send a spreadsheet for the campers being offered with the manufacturers URL link for the floorplan and specifications or do they need to be sent as a PDF? PDF Format is required for the Floorplan and Specifications. 3. On the smaller units (sleeps 2 or fewer): Can �bunkhouse� models be proposed, if the curtain is removed from the bunkhouse that would allow it to be used as storage?� The vendor has expressed some difficulty locating units of this size that don�t have a bunk set up in the rear (with a queen/king up front)�They can have the bunk setup for the rear room but should not remove the curtain 4. On the smaller units (sleeps 2 or fewer): Can the requirement for 2 30lb propane tanks be waived? Typically, industry standard for units in that size is either 1 30lb tank or 2 20lb tanks.Yes, 2 20lb tanks or 1 30lb tank is acceptable for the units sleeping 2 or fewer. 5. Can the requirement for a fully enclosed underbelly on these units (all sizes) be waived?�Yes. Additionally, the due date/time for proosals has been corrected on the SAM.gov posting to reflect the time and date in the combined synopsis/solicitation, 5:00pm January, 25, 2022. ***End of Amendment*** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be published for this requirement, in which proposals are being requested. Solicitation #70FB8022R00000010 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15 for Travel Trailers, as defined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This combines synopsis/solicitation is for 350ea Travel Trailers, of various sleeping capacities from 2 to 5 or more people, as outlined in the SOW.� Travel trailers proposed must meet all requirements of the SOW.� Prices proposed shall be inclusive of shipping/transportation.� Delivery requirements are included in the attached combined synopsis/solicitation and SOW. All questions shall be submitted electronically via email to Max Hempe at max.hempe@fema.dhs.gov and Jason Morgan at jason.morgan@fema.dhs.gov, no later than 12:00 PM EST on Monday January 24, 2022 . Proposals shall be submitted electronically via email to Max Hempe at max.hempe@fema.dhs.gov and Jason Morgan at jason.morgan@fema.dhs.gov, no later than 5:00 PM EST on Tuesday January 25, 2022. The Government will not accept proposals that are in shared drives or other web-based storage sites; documents must be attached to the email.� Offerors shall reference the Solicitation #70FB8022R00000010 on all documentation submitted in response to this RFP.
