- Solicitation #36C24122Q0201 VIRTUAL PHARMACY SERVICES FOR VA NEW ENGLAND HEALTHCARE SYSTEM Contractor shall provide Virtual Pharmacy services to complete pending medication/supply orders as required for the VA New England Healthcare System. Services include the professional pharmacists review and problem solving needed to assure medication orders are safe and accurate. Contractor must be a U.S.-based small business company capable of providing pharmacy services to be completed via a secure web-based system provided by the contractor. Contractor s pharmacists will have access to the necessary network and Electronic Health Records (EHR) to complete services. Contractor shall provide sufficient licensed pharmacists to process all orders accurately to completion and to support resolution of questions and consultations in a timely manner as described in the Performance Work Statement of the solicitation. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs prohibits the offshoring of work under this contract and for all telehealth contracts. No offshoring means that no contractor performance or work under this contract shall occur outside of the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, or their territories or possessions of the U.S. Period of Performance: The period of performance will begin May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, with four (4) possible option years. Place of Performance: Services will be provided virtually but will service the VA New England Healthcare System located in Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. If required at a later date, services may also be added for Connecticut and New Hampshire VA Medical Centers. This contract is for non-personal services. It does not create employment rights with the U.S. Government whether actual, inherent, or implied. Each contract pharmacist must have a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Contract pharmacist(s) must maintain current registration and must be proficient in verbal and written English.
