Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE� Description: GW Drain Pains for Weapons Cooling Coil System The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award �a Firm-Fixed Priced Purchase Order to a single source under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, on or about 21 February 2022, to manufacture GW3-DPSS-AS 3GW and 5GW DRAIN PAN (304 SS) ANTI SWEAT. The applicable NAICS Code is 333415. This service in only available from the original equipment manufacturer, according to the the Department of Defense Standardized Program Qualified Product List (QPL -2939). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it can meet this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.� It is anticipated that an award will be issued to Engineered Coil Co, dba DRS Marlo, within approximately ten (10) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capability to meet this requirement.
