Description
Please see the attached solicition. The government intends to negotiate a sole source contract to JMA Resources, Inc.based on the following: ELTMaestro products are used through both government and industry to leverage a shared-nothing MPP architecture. This is a requirement to ensure the scalability of the data warehouse architecture as the complexity and volumes of data grow overtime. The shared-nothing MPP architecture has been tested and validated to meet the Navy's requirements and is unique to data governance, integration, and security suites of products that integrate with SAP and IBM's Netezza Appliance. ELTMaestro has the unique ability to process very large, complex data sets in parallel with the IBM Netezza to provide access of this data to Navy stakeholders for Business Intelligence and reporting purposes. It has the capability of integrating with SAP and Oracle databases to load the IBM Netezza warehouse appliance. ELTMaestro software provides Extract Load Transform (ELT) development for the IBM Netezza/Pure Data platform. ELTMaestro uses a dataflow-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) to allow construction of data loads with little training required. The database for ELTMaestro supports restartability, auditing, balance, and control when loading large sets of structured and unstructured data in support of data analytics. This procurement action represents the minimum requirements of the government and provides for license support that is needed for NAVSUP to extend the capacity of the existing IBM Netezza system to enable a business capability for an integrated data environment to support the Navy Supply System and Congressional Audit Readiness mandates. Other solutions would require significant redesign of data models and/or data processes at a significant cost to NAVSUP Business Systems Center (BSC). In addition the same solution can also be used to satisfy reporting requirements from all of the Navy operating commands, providing an even a faster return on the investment. Items must be Maestro Analytics original equipment manufacturer (OEM). JMA Resources, Inc. is the sole authorized reseller for its software and maintenance support.
