Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PROCUREMENT STATUS UPDATE: 1.28.2022 The latest version of the PHASE 1 DRAFT RFP is now loaded to SAM to allow Industry to get an early look at PHASE 1 DRAFT RFP going through final approval internally. SWG anticipates approval to post the official synopsis should be received and occur within the next several days. The posting of the official RFP continues to be anticipated to occur by mid-February 2022. PLEASE NOTE: While Industry feedback was received and appreciated regarding adequate accounting system and sperate CAS compliance, USACE will not be moving the requirement for providing proof of approval/certification to Phase 2 of the solicitation; it will remain in Phase 1 due to internal guidance. All interested parties please ensure you read through the PHASE 1 DRAFT RFP in its entirety to ensure awareness of current anticipated requirements for offer submission once the official solicitation (RFP) is posted. REMINDER: The PHASE 1 DRAFT RFP IS BEING PROVIDED AS A COURTESY IN PARTNERING WITH INDUSTRY. HOWEVER, THE DRAFT RFP WILL BE SUPERCEDED BY THE OFFICAL RFP ONCE IT IS RELEASED, AND ALL OFFERS SUBMITTED AT THAT TIME WILL NEED TO MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS AS INDICATED IN THE OFFICIAL RFP. END OF UPDATE: 1.28.2022 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **UPDATE** Due to ongoing extended reviews, the schedule for the phase 1 solicitation has changed. Responses to questions in ProjNet listed as related to this EEI are specific to this Draft (RFP). This is aDRAFT SOLICITATION ONLY to provide Early Exchange of Information for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order (MATOC) For Horizontal Construction in Support of The US Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District and the Southwestern Division (SWD). It will be solicited on the basis of full and open competition (Unrestricted), with a target of ten (10) unrestricted awards and the Small Business reserve target of five (5). PROJECT INFORMATION: Construction services required include a wide variety of Design-Build and/or Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction for flood and storm damage reduction projects. Requirements include a mix of levees, floodwalls, drainage structures, pump stations, sector gates, channel widening, bridges, armoring and other heavy civil construction. Although these MATOCs are primarily intended to support the Supplemental Program (primarily for SWG), it may also be used in support of other USACE programs within the boundaries of SWD, such as civil works, operations, military construction and Interagency and International (IIS) support.
