Description: The plasma system can be used to generate ion beams and are used as the plasma source for the materials processing, and fusion relevant plasma parameters. The system will permit a wide variety of different plasmas to be studied including ablation plasmas. Using the positron/positoronium beam capability, positron tomography can be used to study plasma chemistry and physics.
