Description
South Wilmot Gate, Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), AZ W912PL-22-R-0007 Project Description: DB-Construction of a high-capacity/multi-lane installation entrance and commercial vehicle inspection station at the South entrance to Davis-Monthan AFB to connect on-base Yuma Road directly with off-base South Wilmot Road (see below). Project to include: Split-face block buildings with reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, standing-seam metal roof system, fire detection and protection, all utilities/lighting, Air Conditioning: 20 Tons, site improvements, landscaping, access roads, curbing, sidewalks entrance cover, asphalt pavement and parking. This project will comply with Department of Defense Antiterrorism/Force Protection requirements (see Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01). -Facilities include a gatehouse/entry control facility, vehicle inspection facility, visitor center/contractor holding area, overwatch, and overhead protection shade canopies for both the check point and vehicle inspection area (See Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01) -Project will demolish Building 30 -Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost-effective practices integrated into the design/construction of the project. This includes preparation of a life-cycle cost analysis for energy consuming systems and renewable energy generating systems (See Unified Facility Criteria 1-200-02) -Reconfigure the intersection of Wilmot and Yuma Rd. such that traffic travelling on/off base has the right-of-way. Provide active and passive barriers and fencing. THIS PROJECT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BEST VALUE LOWEST PRICE TECNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA). The procurement method used will be 1-step best value lowest price technically acceptable. Eligible offerors will be required to provide a technical and price proposal for consideration of award. The technical proposal will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. Those offers that are determined to be Technically Acceptable will then be evaluated based on the lowest price submitted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $39.5M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The FSC Code is Y1LB. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $10,000,000.00 $25,000,000. The solicitation and all amendments will be posted on www.sam.gov.� It is the responsibility of the offeror to check www.sam.gov website frequently for any amendments or changes to the solicitation. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for offerors inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. No additional media (Compact Disks, Floppy Disks, Faxes or Paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
