Description
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the �Communications-Electronics Commands (CECOM), intends to acquire spares of the Coherent Detector (Part Number: B6958134-1; NSN: 5963-01-463-1679) to support the AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS). This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information for the potential requirement described below. The current source for this spare is Raytheon Electronic Systems, Sudbury, MA. Raytheon is the original developer and integrator of the ATNAVICS. The government does not possess specifications and/or detailed drawings for the referenced spares. Incorporation of software may be necessary in order to achieve required performance of the spares. The software is the property of Raytheon and is not available for competitive procurement. ���������� Requirements Description: This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply-to-supply spares of the Coherent Detector with NSN: 5963-01-463-1679 which is a component of the AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS). The U.S. Army is seeking to identify vendors with the capability to supply this Coherent Detector. The U.S. Army will not provide any test equipment or facilities for this effort. . The following additional NAICS apply: 334511 The Government requires an estimated quantity for this effort as followed: Quantity: TBD (NSN: 5963-01-463-1679) Past performance for these items. The Contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same items for which they have manufacturing experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that they possess, or shall possess, adequate experience, knowledge, production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable them, or their subcontractors, to support this item at the contractor�s best estimated delivery schedule (to include rate per month and number of months lead time from contract award). Requested Response Information: Sources that can manufacture spares of the Coherent Detector for NSN: 5963-01-463-1679 are requested to submit information to show their capability to manufacture. At a minimum, information submitted should include but is not limited to the following types of documentation: Questionnaire information on previous Government and commercial contracts, and data rights. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. Notice, Response Due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This Sources sought announcement (SSA) is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business.� Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
