THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e). DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. IAW FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES-SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources-sought/RFI only. The purpose of this sources-sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112 (size standard of 1000 Employees). Responses to this sources-sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources-sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources-sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking Brand Name or Equal Bronchoscope Robotic System that meets the following Salient Characteristics for the Phoenix VA Medical Center: Salient Characteristics/Specification robotic bronchoscope system: o Built in video camera (optic) at distal tip of robotic scope o 2.1mm working channel o LED lights o Built-in fluidics system (suction and irrigation) o Two-part robotic bronchoscope system design with sheath and telescopic scope Robotically controlled sheath (offering articulation, insertion, retraction, parking capabilities) Robotically controlled scope with built in Camera that telescopes from parked sheath (offering articulation, insertion, retraction, parking capabilities) Fused Navigation Technology includes the following: o Optical Pattern Recognition o Electromagnetic Navigation o Robotic Insertion Data **Does not require fluoroscopy for navigation** Key biopsy procedural functions: o Real-time direct & continuous visualization of biopsy process through built in camera (optics) o Always on visualization with simultaneous suction & irrigation capability (using built-in fluidics system feature) Ergonomics design & value of the easy to operate X box type controller function o Physician/operator may sit during navigation instead of standing o Built-in fluidics system (suction & irrigation) with touch of button action(s) o Single-hand bronchoscope/distal tip control, with real-time continuous visualization during live biopsy process Monitor/visualization functions: o Single screen navigation views o Targeting views for precise biopsy guidance o Case planning capability on tower and laptop Product Information: Manufacture Part # Item Description Quantity MON-000006 Monarch Platform, Bronchoscopy 1 Each MBR-000211 Monarch Bronchoscope 5 Each MBR-000014 Biopsy Forceps - Smooth Cup 1 Box MBR-000015 Cytology Brush 1 Box MBR-000218 Bronchoscope Fluidics Tubing 2G 2 Box MBR-000020 Bronchoscope Sheath Valve 1 Box ELEVATE-101020 Premier Support 1 EA The brand name is Auris Health, Inc The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory.
