Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole source contract with FranklinCovey. A sole source Justification & Approval document is being coordinated and, upon approval, a copy of it will be posted here on SAM.gov to comply with the public display requirements of FAR 6.305. The proposed contract action is to provide the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Joint Forces Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN) multiple sessions for onsite and virtual training to provide techniques for implementing Leading at the Speed of Trust in DISA/JFHQ-DoDIN organizations. Organizational culture change is required to work closer together and improve the trust factor between and within the organizations. Since the organizations have different perspectives and solutions to common goals within DISA/JFHQ-DoDIN, it is important to build a level of trust with the key stakeholders. The DISA/JFHQ training requirement is to provide coaching to assist leaders in conducting Trust Huddles and to assist senior executives in promoting the use of Trust Huddle core practices. The Leading at the Speed of Trust contractor will provide course documentation to include participant kits and Leading at the Speed of Trust Action Cards. The contractor is to provide access to leadership and organization-oriented training material for a 12-month period via an electronic portal. The portal shall provide access to the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People 4.0 and derivative courses, including 7 Habits for Managers Leadership: Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results and derivative courses, including the Leadership Modules, The 4 Disciplines of Execution, The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity, including The 5 Choices; Essentials, Leading at the Speed of Trust 3.0, and derivative courses, including Speed of Trust Foundations, and Project Management Essentials. The Contractor shall provide trust huddles with organization staff and senior executive service members. Trust huddles are designed to practice language and behaviors of trust in everyday organizational engagements. Contractor is to conduct seminars and include a trust quotient assessment and integrate the results of the assessment to individual and the organization. Leading at the Speed of Trust and its associated programs are commercially developed training and development opportunities remain the intellectual property of the developer, FranklinCovey, a large business. Currently, the incumbent contractor FranklinCovey is the only source capable of providing all necessary services.
