B20042 ROLL-UP DOORS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) CAUTION: This market survey/RFI is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to replace eighteen (18) existing Dynaco High Speed Doors in building 20042 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. It is not expected that contractor personnel will require security clearances for proper accomplishment of contract requirements. The Contractor shall provide all tools, parts, material labor, materials, supplies, equipment (including equipment rental), rigging, labor, transportation and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of eighteen (18) existing doors, and install eighteen (18) each new 27� X 18� Insulated Rolling Steel Doors in building 20042 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The eighteen (18) each 27� x 18� Insulated Rolling Steel Doors shall have exterior powder coating and RHX Electric Operator with Safety Edge. Installation shall include all electrical work and framework required for proper installation and functionality. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this market survey/RFI may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.� The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. INSTRUCTIONS: Below is a document containing a brief description of the Roll-Up Doors requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company�s capability. NOTE: Attached is a draft Purchase Description for this requirement. � If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company�s capability in meeting these requirements.� Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities.� If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) � Identify any areas of work that your organization believes should be broken out exclusively for Small Business. � 3.� Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research.� Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. � 4.� Questions relative to this market survey should be addressed to the requiring activity. � The Contractor shall provide to the 402d Maintenance Support Group (MXSG), Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA all tools, parts, materials, supplies, equipment (including equipment rental), rigging, labor, transportation and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of eighteen (18) Insulated Rolling Steel High Speed Doors and furnish and install eighteen (18) each 27� x 18� Insulated Rolling Steel Doors with exterior powder coating and RHX Electric Operator with Safety Edge. � NOTE: The Contractor shall visit Robins AFB, building 20042, and field measure all key components and notify the MXSG Government Representative of any obstacles/problems they foresee prior to starting fabrication/construction.� The Contractor shall coordinate all plans prior to beginning any work with the MXSG Government Representative.
