- *Amendment 1 The purpose of this amendment is to include FAR Clause 52.216-2 Economic Price Adjustment and to extend the due date for proposals to Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM� MST (local time) The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, Utah, has a need for un-operated vehicle rental of pickup trucks, SUV�s, accessories, delivery and pick up. The vehicles will be used to transport personnel, tools, equipment, materials, etc. They will be operated on National Forest roads ranging from paved highways to narrow unimproved roads. These vehicles will be used extensively on gravel, dirt, and undeveloped roads having substantial amounts of rock, brush, and other debris. All vehicles shall comply with applicable State laws.� All vehicles offered shall be no older than 5 model years including the current model year.� Each vehicle shall have no more than 40,000 miles at the time of delivery.� It is anticipated that the Forest Service will log approximately 8000 miles per vehicle per lease timeframe. The Contractor shall furnish vehicles as specified in the Schedule of Items. At a minimum, offerors shall submit the following as separate documents: ����������� Exhibit A ����������� Exhibit B ����������� Technical Capability Narrative: Description of technical capability offered and experience performing similar services Technical approach summarizing contractor�s strategy to accomplish the work and delivery schedules List of key personnel and description of their technical abilities, training, experience, education List of Subcontractors, if applicable, and the type of work they will be performing. If the offeror intends to subcontract major portions of the work, it shall submit worksheets from its principal subcontractors. Past Performance List and Narratives--To assist in the evaluation, submit a Past Performance List of recent or current projects similar to this project and shall provide a brief narrative describing: The similarities between that project and this effort; The offeror�s role in the project; Information on problems encountered during performance; The offeror�s corrective solutions to those problems; and Cost or Pricing Instructions Offerors shall fill out the Schedule of Items. Multiple contracts may be issued against this solicitation.� Terms of the contract(s) will be a 5 year ordering period. This opportunity is 100% Small Business Set Aside.� All responsible vendors shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management www.SAM.gov database before submitting a proposal for this opportunity.
