Description

Lease of a snow blower capable of blowing 5000 tons per hour with a casting distance of 200 feet for delivery and pickup by vendor at facility 922 Dover AFB. The snow blower shall be delivered with a full tank of fuel and upon pick up the fuel tank will be filled by base personnel. Due to maintenance issues with existing equipment it is critical for snow removal operations that this equipment is available for use by Civil Engineer snow operations. The snow blower is a critical piece of equipment aiding in removing snow from the airfield. The impact of not leasing this equipment for snow removal would be a hindrance of receiving and sending SORTIES on the airfield and the increased risk of vehicle accidents of support equipment and vehicles for airfield operations.
