Notice of Intent to Sole Source THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations. USFWS IRTM intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to: Hexagon US Federal 1881 Campus Commons Drive Suite 410 Reston, VA 20191 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 511210, Software Publishers. The object of this sole source award is to obtain software performance and maintenance for the ERDAS Imagine modules. Hexagon US Federal develops a suite of software products under the ERDAS label, which incorporates geospatial image processing and analysis into a single package. ERDAS software will be used by the USFWS to manipulate imagery data and values to create 2D and 3D graphics, 3D flythrough videos, and cartographic-like maps from the geospatial data. Other tools and features include linear feature extraction, generation of workflow process, mosaicking of images, and LiDAR point cloud manipulation. These tools and features will help the USFWS accomplish its mission. Hexagon US Federal is the sole reseller of reseller of the ERDAS software. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
