- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The 374th Contracting Squadron intends to award a single source, firm-fixed price Purchase Order to Sanki Engineering Co., Ltd for a replacement services of wire ropes and vertical/horizontal aliments and testing to the existing Elevating Transfer Vehicles (ETV) at Yokota AB under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), due to only one source being capable of meeting this requirement in its entirely within the timeframe required. The requirement is removal, installation, adjustment and testing of 2 sets of wire ropes and associated accessories to the existing ETVs for Mechanized Material Handling System (MMHS) located at Yokota AB, JAPAN. All work must be done in accordance with ANSI HST-4M Performance Standard for Overhead Electric Wire Rope Hoists, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (OSHA) STANDARDS�29 CFR 1910 Occupational Safety and Health Standards, (General Industry), and manufacturer�s instruction manuals. This notice constitutes a synopsis of the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation. Interested parties may submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient details and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement by 18 Feb 22, 1400 hours in JAPAN STANDARD TIME. A request for additional information or document or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement. Capability statements are due on 18 Feb 22, 1400 hours in JAPAN STANDATD TIME.
