Description
SCOPE: During the week of 10-14 January 2022, the Contractor shall provide the services listed below to the 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron (3 ASOS): 1.0 Bear guards: Two personnel (1 per ASOS team) armed with shotgun or rifle and ammunition sufficient to deny bears and other wildlife the ability to injure �on call� to their team for an anticipated duration of eight hours per day on the dates of 11, 12 and 13 January 2022. The bear guards will provide their own mode of transportation, which will be similar in nature to the ASOS team�s transportation to provide security during training events. 1.1 Example: If the team is taking a snow machine to their training area, the bear guards will take a snow machine to the training area. If the team is walking to their training area, the bear guards will also walk to the training area. 2.0 General Support: At least 2 personnel �on call� around the clock (24 hrs) during the dates of 11, 12 and 13 January 2022 to provide transportation of all exercise POLAR QUAKE personnel (approximately 15 personnel) and equipment (Side by Side vehicle and up to 5K lbs) to and from the airport (Wiley Post-Will Rogers Memorial Airport). Additionally, �on call� personnel will be available to provide support in the event of individuals get locked out of their lodging room or vehicles, or provide assistance if there is a vehicle issue during the training window (10-14 Jan 22). 2.1. Examples: Assistance includes but is not limited to: towing, jump start, flat tire repair, pulling vehicle from snow bank. 3.0 Project Management: Provide at least one person to ensure all exercise POLAR QUAKE personnel have lodging room and vehicle keys available at time of arrival to the Ukpea?vik I�upiat Corporation area, rental vehicles staged in lodging parking area. 3.1. Project management person(s) will ensure all rooms are clean, to include common areas like bathrooms/kitchens etc. and all bedrooms will have linens in room for beds (if beds are not already made) and be available during checkout to process individual payments for all exercise POLAR QUAKE personnel. Contracting/Account Management: Provide at least one person to ensure all exercise POLAR QUAKE expenses are accurately tracked and provide a finalized bill to 3 ASOS resource advisor within 30 days of exercise completion.
