ORIGINAL POSTING February 4 2022 1. Scope of Work The work required by this Performance Work Statement (PWS) includes Administrative and Technical Support Services for the General Services Administration, with the primary place of performance being Regions 6, 7, and 8 which encompasses the following states: Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The secondary geographic area encompasses the following states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island,� New Hampshire, Maine,� and the District of Columbia. 2. Background a.�������� The Public Buildings Service (PBS) is the landlord of the civilian Federal government, providing workspace for millions of federal employees in government-owned buildings and privately owned leased facilities across the nation.� PBS also repairs, alters, renovates, and maintains these facilities, including 400 historic properties in the government�s inventory. � Eleven regional PBS offices, located in major metropolitan centers across the country, deliver comprehensive real estate services to their Federal customer agencies. b.�������� The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) possesses unrivaled capability to deliver comprehensive products and services across government at the best value possible. FAS offers a continuum of innovative solutions in the areas of products and services, technology, motor vehicle management, transportation, travel, procurement and online acquisition tools. c.�������� The Public Buildings Service (PBS) supports other civilian federal agencies, who use our programs to provide their workspace and furnishings at best value to the American taxpayer.� We acquire space through new construction and leasing and maintain federal properties nationwide. We own or lease an inventory of more than 8,800 assets, maintain more than 370 million square feet of workspace for 1.1 million federal employees, and preserve more than 500 historic properties. 3.�������� LOCATION a.�������� The work required by this PWS is estimated to mainly provide support positions for the location to be determined at the Task Order Level.� A separate PWS will be provided to specify work locations that will be supported by each Task Order as required.
