Description
The FBI is seeking potential sources of supply to meet the requirements outlined below. This publication is only for market research purposes only. The FBI currently has no funding set aside for this requirement. This is solely for market research purposes. Vendors that can meet or exceed these requirements are invited to provide product information to Ryan Dolan at RDolan@fbi.gov. Thank you. ***BREAK*** The Evidence Response Team Unit (ERTU) is conducting market research for a new Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (sUAS) and related accessories for use by the ERT Program.� The ERT Program currently has a fleet of 40 sUAS�s deployed at 26 FBI field offices.� The sUAS�s are used to assist in searching for evidence on crime scene searches and to properly document crime scenes. To do this properly the sUAS�s operate both autonomously using preprogrammed mission parameters and using manual controls. Due to the various missions that the ERTU sUAS will be required to do, the new sUAS must have the following specifications: sUAS Quadcopter or Hexacopter At least 35 MPH max speed Minimum 25-minute flight time Max Takeoff Weight 6.0 LBS Autonomous obstacle avoidance capabilities No flight location Geo-Fencing Ability to operate in an offline environment No �Phone Home� communication functions with the manufacture Lighting as required in Title 14 Chapter 1 �107.29 Must return to home in the event of a loss of link with the ground control station Minimum of 3 spare rechargeable batteries NDAA Compliant Camera Minimum 1 Inch CMOS Sensor Minimum 20 Megapixel Sensor Mechanical shutter Ability to capture in Raw & JPEG image formats Images must be georeferenced using on board Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) information when possible Removable media card that is the sole storage location for all captured photographs Ground Control Station Control software must be Android based Standard two stick controls for manual flight functions 4-hour battery life Ability to push video feed to another device through a hardline connection Must be able to operate autonomously and fly a pre-programmed route & capture photographs using pre-programed parameters from the Pilot in Command to include Altitude Camera Angle Front Overlap Side Overlap Flight Speed
