- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for Simplify 797 with Critical Point, USP800 Compounding Module for the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 6 Medical Centers with Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)(B) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these highly specialized services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost. No other type of service will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of Wednesday, February 16, 2022, to Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. 525 Junction Rd. Ste 5000, Madison, WI 53717-2154, Cage Code 310T5. This is a Sole Source requirement to satisfy the minimum requirements of the VISN 6 VA Medical Centers Pharmacies: Charles George VA Medical Center (AKA Asheville VA Medical Center) - 637 Durham VA Health Care System (AKA Durham VA Medical Center) - 558 Fayetteville VA Medical Center - 656 Hampton VA Medical Center - 590 Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center (AKA Richmond VA Medical Center) - 652 W G Bill Hefner VA Medical Center (AKA Salisbury VA Medical Center) - 659 This procurement is for the Simplify 797 software, which connects with existing Omnicell equipment and interfaces with VISN 6 medical centers, including Omnicell software, packagers, and medication cabinets, which is impossible through any other sources. Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. is the sole source provider, and no other vendor is authorized to distribute. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contracting Officer, Chellry Whittier, via e-mail by Tuesday, February 15, 2022, @ 9:00 a.m. EST. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman-owned businesses and whether they are U.S. or foreign-owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. (End of Document)
