- USCG BRISTOL BAY DETROIT, MI 48207 Period of Performnace: 28FEB2022 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z08522QPIBCT708 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. The NAICS Code is 336611. The Small Business Size Standard is 7.5M. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. **For purposes of evaluation and award, Past Performance is considered to be more important than Price. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following project: TECHNICAL SERVICES FOR REPAIR TO HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC PIPING ONBOARD THE USCGC BRISTOL BAY (WTGB 102) BARGE (CGB 12001). Background. This service is for the replacement of hydraulic supply and return lines for the anchor winch that are highly corroded and leaking hydraulic fluid. This casualty negatively impacts BRISTOL BAY�s ability to conduct its ATON mission. Scope. The scope of this work is on the USCGC Bristol Bay�s Barge. Location is inside starboard deckhouse. Objective. The objective of this work is to bring the Barge back to fully mission capable. Tasks. The contractor shall supply all material and tools needed to remove/replace/weld hydraulic pipe. � ����� ����� 4.1. Contractor to provide marine chemist 4.2. Contractor is to remove and properly dispose of any residual fuel not removed by ships force with installed transfer system and clean fuel tank to marine chemist�s requirements for certification for hot work. ����� ����� 4.3. Contractor is to provide fire watches. ����� ����� 4.4. Unit will provide a member to be on scene for barge specific questions. 4.5. Unit will secure and tag-out hydraulic system, and will remove as much fuel as they are capable of removing with installed system. Government furnished property. There is no Government furnished property�������������������������� �Anticipated. Security Requirement. Base access is required.� Vendor shall have a valid driver�s������� license and show identification.� Cutter personnel will arrange to ensure contractor has access to base.
