- 1.� Description This is a Request for Information (RFI) only �it issued solely to obtain information to assist in determining appropriate acquisition strategy for a planned acquisition.�It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� A solicitation is not available at this time.� All information submitted in response to this request is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in preparing or submitting a response. This RFI is issued for the purpose of gaining market information of potential qualified sources and their socioeconomic status relative to North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 488190 for Other Support Activities for Air Transportation which has a corresponding size standard of $32.5 million and NAICS code 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology).� Determination of which socioeconomic categories can compete under these NAICS codes is information we are seeking. 2. Objective The Technology Development Directorate � Aviation (TDD-A/SID) is seeking industry input to identify potential solutions for quality maintenance support for a variety of military and civilian derivative fixed wing, rotary wing, and unmanned aerial vehicles which type and quantity will vary dynamically in support of the mission of Army Futures Command.� These aircraft are unique, highly modified, one-of-a-kind research aircraft that conduct experimental and developmental flight test in support of decision-making requirements of the Army Futures Command and require a level of specialized experience beyond what regular aviation maintenance support would normally require.� All work will be performed in government furnished facilities at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and other locations as required.� TDD-A/SID is seeking high level of field level maintenance (to include phase maintenance and special inspections), limited sustainment level repair, aviation maintenance management, embedded Contractor support to the TDD-A/SID�s Aviation Support Facility, prototype development of systems and products, and aircraft modifications and upgrades.� Field and selected sustainment level maintenance is performed on government equipment furnished to the Contractor by supported units and activities that do not possess the capability to accomplish their maintenance mission assignment.� Refer to the attached draft Performance Work Statement.� These services are currently provided by USfalcon, Inc. located at 100 Regency Forest Drive Suite 150, Cary, NC 27518-8598 under GSA Contract GS00Q14OADS739, task order W911W6-17-F-0006 issued under the General Services Administration (GSA), One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business Contract (Pool 6, NAICS 541715, PSC R425).� The TO was issued on a cost plus fixed fee basis with a period of performance of 28 July 2017 through 31 July 2022.� 3. Requested Information. Any interested source believing it can fulfill the requirement identified in the draft PWS is invited to submit a capability statement addressing the information identified below.� (1) Company Name; Company Address; and Point-of-Contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. (2) Company profile to include business status with consideration of the assigned NAICS code, number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), and DUNS number and CAGE code. (3) Corporate experience performing efforts of similar size, scope, and complexity within the last five years, including contract number, organization support, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, contract type, Government point of contact with current telephone number, and a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the services described in the draft PWS. (4) Specific technical skills possessed your company to perform this requirement? (5) Known Strategic vehicles including title and contract number and ordering information and which include the NAICS codes mentioned above.� 4. Responses All interested, capable, and responsible sources are encouraged to respond.
