Description
Description: The Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (OPM-MAS),�Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and the Army Contracting Command -Rock Island, IL hereby issues Request for�Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-22-R-0002 for the manufacture and delivery of 12 Gauge Shotshell�Ammunition to include Cartridge (Ctg) 12 Gauge #00 Buckshot (A011), Ctg 12 Gauge #9 Shot (A017),�and Ctg 12 Gauge 7 � Shot (A014). Department of Defense Identification Code (DODIC) A011 is a 12 Ga. 2 3/4� round with nine .330 inch�diameter 00 Buckshot pellets. It is packed 5 cartridges in a cardboard carton, 32 cartons packed in an�M2A2 ammunition box. Two ammunition boxes are then packed into a wire bound wooden crate. This�ammunition is used for training and combat. DODIC A017 is a 12 Ga. 2 3/4� round with 1 1/8 ounces of #9 shot (approximately 575 pellets .080� in�diameter). It is packed 25 cartridges in a cardboard carton, 20 cartons in a fiberboard box. This�ammunition is used for training and target competition. DODIC A014 is a 12 Ga. 2 3/4"" round with 1 1/8 ounces of #7 1/2 Shot that is approximately 0.095""�diameter and weighs about 1.25 grains each. It can be fired out of the M26, M1014, Mossberg Model�500/590, and Remington 870/MCS shotguns. It is packed 48 cartridges in a cardboard box. This�ammunition is used for training and marksmanship. Planned Acquisition: The planned approach is Full and Open Competition. Proposals will be�evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable or LPTA Source Selection procedures. The�resulting award will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to a single�Offeror. Firm Fixed Pricing will be utilized. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 500,000 each in any combination of the three DODICs listed�above and will be awarded at the time of the base contract award. During the life of the contract, the�Government is entitled to order up to a maximum total quantity of 10,000,000 each in any�combination of the three DODICs listed above.
