Small Business Set-Aside: SBA Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
Description: This is a pre-solicitation notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.201.� Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract on a competitive basis using FAR Part 15 Procedures. �NUWCDIVNPT has a requirement for interior modification of existing secure storage space.� Project includes demolition and construction of walls, replacement of personnel and overhead doors, provision of through-wall exhaust fans and louvers, and modification of the electrical system. Onsite Contractor supervision will require at least one qualified individual who may serve concurrently in the role of superintendent, quality control manager, and site safety and health officer. Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price is between $250,000 and $500,000.� Bonds and insurance will be required. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP).� North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220. �The Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. Product Service Code is Z2GZ, Repair or alteration of other warehouse buildings. It is currently anticipated an organized site visit will be conducted on or about Wednesday 16 Mar 2022.� Further details will be released upon issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) N66604-22-R-0243, to be posted on or about 3 Mar 2022 at U.S. System for Award Management (SAM.gov).� Offerors are responsible for monitoring information posted at this website.� The closing date for receipt of proposal will be established in the RFP. Offerors must be currently registered in SAM to be eligible for award; see https://www.sam.gov. Draft plans and specifications are attached. �Drawing set is controlled unclassified information (CUI) and may be requested via controlled access in SAM.gov.� Offerors must have an active Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code to request and be approved to receive the controlled information. �Offerors do not have to be JCP certified to obtain the attachments.
