Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona 85734, for a five-year follow-on contract.� The scope of the contract will include Intermediate Level Maintenance Facilities (ILMF) and Depot Level Maintenance Facilities (DLMF) services including: Missile maintenance services, recertification and depot repair, warranty recertification, integrated logistics support services, and Provisioned Item Order (PIO) spares.� Raytheon is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet requirements for the STANDARD Missile program.� Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon Company directly.� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
