****Q&A has been uploaded as an attachment to this posting.**** ****A revised PWS has been uploaded to update section 8.1. - Classified access is required for performance of the contract.**** ����������� THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY � This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� Solicitations are not available at this time.� Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government.� Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov.� It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. ����������� The Mission Information Team, SED, DEVCOM Soldier Center, is seeking support in Ground Soldier Technology Workflow, Integration, and eXperience, and GS-TWIX effort develops ground Soldier-centric information technology across the hardware, software, network, and data spectrum as well as to optimize the ground Soldier�s ability to shoot, move and communicate according to the Army Modernization Priorities. GS-TWIX will impact multiple DEVCOM Soldier Center efforts and collaborations including Sensored Soldier, Nett Warrior, Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS), Soldier Integration Facility (SIF), Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense (CBRND), OUSD Research and Engineering (R&E) 5G Tactical Applications for Small Units in Distributed Operations (5GTA-SUDO). GS-TWIX specifically seeks to design, develop, and analyze solutions associated with small unit ground Soldier systems and devices as they impact Soldier sub-systems integration, Soldier workflow, and Soldier experience. Historically, Small Unit systems were electronic in nature.� Currently, Small Unit systems span the mechanical, electrical, software, network, and data engineering spectrum.� Furthermore, the operational space for these solutions is also diverse covering warfighter functions spanning lethality, maneuver, communications, logistics, and protection.� MIT is seeking the following information: 1.�������� Potential Respondents shall describe how they would propose to successfully perform each of the five task (Sensored Soldier, Nett Warrior, SIF, JPEO CBRND, and OUSD 5G) assuming that all services provided by Respondent would be accomplished in accordance with all applicable U.S. laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. 2.�������� Potential Respondents shall describe both their existing relationships and past performance/experience with the following entities and the extent to which such relationships would enable Respondents to successfully perform each of the five tasks: ����������� ����������� a. Sensored Soldier (see PWS section 3.1 for additional information) ����������� b. Nett Warrior and Ground Soldier System (see PWS section 3.2 for additional information) ����������� c. Ground Soldier Systems Integration (see PWS section 3.3 for additional information) ����������� d. CBRND Integration with Ground Soldier Systems (see PWS section 3.4 for additional information) ����������� e. 5G Tactical Applications for Small Units in Distributed Operations (5GTA-SUDO) (see PWS section 3.5 for additional information) SUBMISSION REQUEST There is no page restriction associated with this RFI; however, an executive summary, not to exceed twenty (20) pages, should accompany each submission.� Responses may include any advertising or marketing information.� Vendors deciding to submit competition sensitive or proprietary information bear sole responsibility for marking the information for appropriate safeguarding. Please include the following information in the response: 1.� Company Name, Address, Point of Contact; 2.� Identification of Large or Small Business size status; 3.� Identification of the quality control system, i.e. compliance with ISO 9001:2008;� 4.� Estimated time to delivery The response date for this RFI is Feb 24, 2022 at 5:00PM EST.� No collect calls will be accepted.� All responses to this RFI may be submitted via e-mail to Shawn Haubner, Contracting Officer, at shawn.p.haubner.civ@army.mil, courtesy copy to Alexander Ponusky, Contracting Specialist, at alexander.m.ponusky.civ@army.mil. PROPRIETARY DATA The Government may use information received from this RFI to establish future U.S. Army requirements.� Vendors deciding to submit competition sensitive or proprietary information bear sole responsibility for marking the information for appropriate safeguarding. Proprietary information will be protected from unauthorized disclosure as required by Subsection 27 of the Office of Procurement Policy Act as amended (41 U.S.C. 423) (hereinafter referred to as ""the Act""), as implemented in the FAR.� Additional Information This Sources Sought notice is solely for information purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or the issuance thereof.� This notice does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation and/or award a contract.� All information received in response to this notice that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly.� Any information submitted will not be returned, and no payment will be made by the Government for such information.� The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed.� Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for any potential requirement.� Input on technical aspects of the responses may be solicited by DEVCOM SC from non-Government consultants/experts who are bound by appropriate non-disclosure requirements.� By responding to this notice, the Respondent agrees to allow such input from non-Government consultants/experts concerning the information and materials submitted.� �����������
