THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL BEING USED TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL AND ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS CAPABILE OF PROVIDING THE SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN PRIOR TO DETERMINING THE METHOD OF ACQUISITION AND ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. ELIGIBILITY: The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 6625. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515 with a size standard of 750 employees. All interested small businesses are encouraged to respond with a capabilities statement. INTRODUCTION: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Department (A2515), Patuxent River, MD intends to procure multiple data acquisition systems for use during qualification testing of aircraft equipment.� The scope of work will provide the procurement of multiple data acquisition system to be used at the Power and Propulsion Department, Electrical Systems Laboratory (ESL).� PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Patuxent River, MD PROGRAM BACKGROUND: The ESL is a testing facility that consists of numerous test areas that are designed to evaluate electrical power generation, battery and power conversion systems, electrical power distribution systems, electrical power quality, electrical starting and emergency electrical power systems. The new systems being procured must be compatible with and integrate into the current systems being used inside the ESL. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached for review. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMISSION DETAILS (CAPABILITIES STATEMENT): It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief Capabilities Statement no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12-point font minimum.
