- DOE OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FORUM - 3-2022 The next Office of Environmental Management Business Opportunities Forum is scheduled for March 8, 2022, from 9:45 a.m.-11:35 a.m. (Arizona, MST) at the Waste Management Symposia 2022.� Topics will include a discussion on status of ongoing and upcoming procurement opportunities.� You are cordially invited to join us at the event to learn about the latest news on doing business with the Office of Environmental Management.� The event will be held in the Exhibit Hall, Panel Zone, in the Phoenix Convention Center during the Waste Management Conference.� Attendees must be registered for the conference and be in possession of a conference badge to gain access. For this Business Opportunities Forum, we also will be offering WebEx capability for those not attending the Waste Management Conference.� There is no fee to attend the WebEx.� Information for connecting via WebEx will be sent out prior to the forum.� We request you pre-register for the WebEx to receive the connection information.� To do so, please contact Ms. Carmen Simpson at carmen.simpson@emcbc.doe.gov by COB, March 3, 2022.� The Office of Environmental Management will also be conducting one-on-one meetings with small businesses in attendance at the Waste Management Conference.� DOE is focused on advancing equity in procurement for small businesses and interested in feedback in the following areas: What are the most significant barriers to entry for small businesses at the prime and subcontract level? Do you have suggestions for improvements that DOE can make to increase opportunities for small businesses, including socioeconomic small businesses?
