Description

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a solicitation for a firm-fixed price contract to accomplish hull cleaning and ultrasound thickness (UT) tests on two (2) YCs open lighter vessels located at Naval Base San Diego, California in accordance with (IAW) work specification HRMC-004-22.� This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-22-Q-0031.� A sources sought was posted on SAM.gov on 14 February 2022.� �� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. � The Period of Performance for this requirement will commence 14 March 2022 with a delivery date of 31 March 2022.� The performance location will take place at Naval Base San Diego, California, Mole Pier. This pre-solicitation is issued IAW Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.201.� This is not a request for proposals.� Therefore, responses to this notice are not being requested and may not be considered, if received.� PHNSY & IMF intends to post a solicitation on or about 22 February 2022. All firms or individuals responding to the forthcoming solicitation must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov by the award date.
