- The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to award a single-source contract to Meeting Tomorrow, Inc., 2901 W Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60625; Cage: 8AFE2, to provide for rented event production equipment and conference technical support. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The 90th Force Support Squadron (FSS) is seeking to rent event production equipment for a four-day web seminar taking place 05 April to 08 April 2022. The equipment being requested is audio-visual in nature, and encompasses cameras, microphones, speakers, laptops, projectors, support staff, lighting, and other ancillary equipment. The vendor is also providing live technical and broadcasting support for the event to facilitate remote broadcasting and presentation, two-way video-teleconferencing capabilities, and webinar support, as well as in-person technical support for the duration of the conference. The statutory authority which permits single-source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This authority is supported by an approved Justification & Approval. The Government�s intent to proceed with this single-source action is the result of a shortened timeline due to the inability to acquire permanent upgrades to the existing facility. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has incurred dramatic delivery lead-times for the items being sought, which led to a change of focus to short-term rental of equipment in lieu of outright purchase. Market research of the rental space yielded only one acceptable vendor who could meet both the requirements of delivery, and had the mandatory registrations needed for federal contract award. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 532420 with a small business size standard of $35,000,000. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS; No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 12:00 PM Mountain Time, on 1 March 2022 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the stated requirements. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
