- Description
- This is a Brand Name requirement. The Optical Components Lab in Code 551 at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) requires the procurement of a T204/2 (25?m Mylar beamsplitter) and DLATGS detector to cover the desired spectral range to meet the clients needs. The FT-IR spectrometer is the most popular and commonly used instrument for the spectral characterization of materials in infrared spectral range in the mid-infrared and near-infrared ranges. However, obtaining measurements in the far-infrared spectral range is challenging because it involves weaker radiation sources, stronger diffraction effects, and significant radiation originating from the sample itself and also the temperature gradients inside the spectrometer may not always be constant. Hence, this 25?m Mylar beamsplitter will allow to measure the transmittance and reflectance from 30 to 120 wavenumbers range (80?m to 300?m) to fill such discrepancy. The parts and related accessories shall be delivered approximately 6 weeks upon receipt of order. FOB Destination to 20771
