Description

Presolicitation Notice GAOA-Paintrock Road (NFSR #17) Road Reconstruction Bighorn National Forest/Medicine Wheel Ranger District DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project is to make improvements to Paintrock Road (NFSR #17).� The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, tree & stump removal, asphalt pavement removal, hauling & placing aggregate surface course, road reconditioning, and installation of CMP culverts and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with plans and specifications.� There is an optional item for additional aggregate on portions of the road. PROJECT LOCATION From Shell, Wyoming, travel east on US Hwy #14 for approximately 15.6 miles. The project begins 100 feet from the junction of US 14 and NFSR 17. Junction coordinates: 44� 34' 8.28"" N, -107� 32' 7.30"" W. Contract Time Work on the site shall commence no earlier than June 1, 2022 and proceed in accordance with the contractor�s approved work schedule and run continuously till the end of the project no later than October 30th, 2023. The magnitude of proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Project drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.5, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract.� A single award will be made from the solicitation.
