Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Sam Houston�(MICC-FSH) Contracting Office on behalf of the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) plans to solicit offers for Computer Technicians (Computer Tech (IT-II) to provide�help desk support service to the students and staff of MEDCoE.�� NAICS Code 541519 is on the list of NAICS codes eligible for WOSB set-aside. Effective immediately, the Army�s CHESS program is the mandatory source for the purchase of commercial IT services for Army clients. Purchasers of commercial IT services must satisfy their requirements by utilizing the CHESS contracts first, regardless of dollar value or appropriation. This is directed by the �Use of the Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Contract Vehicles to Purchase Commercial Information Technology (IT) Services memo released by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) (DASA(P)) 1 DEC 2020. The ITES-3S contract is the US Army�s mandatory source for the purchase of a full range of services and solutions within CONUS and OCONUS.
