- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Advanced Environmental Solutions under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Provide Environmental Services for Waste Disposals Services for the BIA- SPA Warehouse Yard at 1881 8th Street NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87104 by February 28,2022. This Project is to identify, characterize, segregate, package, mark, label, manifest, transport and dispose of the various waste streams at the BIA 8th Street property in Albuquerque, NM based on the inventory obtained on January 19, 2022. Per memorandum dated December 20, 2021, 8th Street Property will be given back to 19 Pueblos so they can pursue economic development, deadline to move was given of 2/28/22 per Superintendent for Southern Pueblo Agency. Vendor is about 35 miles from Albuquerque, NM and local. The Period of Performance shall be 30 days from the notice to proceed date. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 562112.
