- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to SWANSON�DEVELOPMENTS, LP�for the�storage rental services�at MURFREESBORO, TN. �A purchase order will be issued for the following period of performance�as follows: Period of Performance (POP): 03/28/2022 - 05/2/2022 Due to the uniqueness of this requirement, and the geographical location of the�store no other location is acceptable. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued, and quotes are not being requested. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b). This service is being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. Justification: There are multiple pieces of heavy equipment currently stored at this location.���The property cannot be moved to a different location as the property�s value would be greatly diminished if dismantled and moved. It is more cost effective to the government to leave the property at the current location. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capabilities to meet the requirements by submitting capabilities statements in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact via email no later than Thursday,�March 3, 2022 �by 5:00 PM, PST. It is solely within the discretion of the IRS to evaluate your capabilities, and to make a determination whether to compete this contract action.
