- Pre-Solicitation On or about 15 Mar 2022, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for �Fort Randall Unit Cooling Water Strainer Replacement Project�.� The solicitation will close on or about 18 Apr 2022. The solicitation is Restricted to Small Businesses.��� Site Visit: A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27. ��The site visit is tentatively scheduled for 7 April 2022. Project Description:� This contract is for the replacement of the 14-inch strainers, and associated valves and piping for the Fort Randall raw water system. This contract will also contain an option to replace the original raw water main header butterfly valves with plug type valves. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 365 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.� Estimated Construction Costs (only include if applicable): The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS Code:� The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard for Small Business of $16.5M.
