Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for BLS/ALS Ambulance Services. The contractor shall furnish transportation of part(s) (if required) to and from the VAMC facility, all supplies, materials, equipment, personnel/labor and technical supervision required to perform the inspections, and calibrations as needed. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. The contractor shall be responsible for securing all manufacturers information, data, procedures, and any other information necessary to conduct calibration. The Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Healthcare System requires a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, insurance, licenses and equipment to provide safe and comfortable services necessary for both Special Mode Beneficiary Travel eligible- Veterans and emergent inter-facility advanced life support (ALS)/basic life support (BLS) ground ambulance transport services for the Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) Emergency Department as needed by FNCVAMC. The contractor shall furnish twenty-four (24) hour ambulance service seven (7) days a week for the beneficiaries of the Fayetteville VAMC Emergency Department, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Contractor shall assist the patient as needed to access the vehicle for transportation. This may include but is not limited to bed to stretcher or stretcher to bed transfer when necessary. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina, provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in medicine, surgery, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and skilled nursing home care for the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This facility also provides ambulance services to those veterans not requiring hospitalization. The Contractor shall provide STAT Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance Services. Contractor will respond and be onsite ready to deliver services 15 minutes from the requested service time. Place of Performance: VA Fayetteville NC Coastal Healthcare System 2300 Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC 28301 Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be Base Year: April 1, 2022- September 30, 2022 Option Year 1: October 1, 2022- September 30, 2023 Option Year 2: October 1, 2023- September 30, 2024 Option Year 3: October 1, 2024- September 30, 2025 Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is Unrestricted. The applicable NAICS is 621910, Ambulance Services, with a size standard of $16.5 million. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract in accordance with all terms, conditions and provisions of the solicitation.
