- Description
- The Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112�will issue a solicitation on or about 11 March 2022 for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Support Services (AFRSS). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the required services. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) selects, educates, trains, and commissions college students to be officers and leaders of character in the Total Air and Space Force. Additionally, AFROTC instills the values of citizenship, national and community service, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in college students. Currently there are 145 AFROTC Detachments. This requirement will be solicited competitively and will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted. The proposed solicitation will be assigned the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 611699 (All other miscellaneous schools and instruction), with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. A firm fixed-priced (FFP) with cost reimbursement CLIN contract is contemplated.� This is a competitive Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA)� conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2, and DFARS 215.101-2-70. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award this firm-fixed price/cost reimbursement contract without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest. Therefore, the offeror�s initial proposal should contain the offeror�s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. The offeror's proposal response shall consist of two (2) separate volumes: Volume 1 - Technical and Volume 2 - Price.� The solicitation is projected to be issued on SAM.gov, https://www.SAM.gov.� No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office.� Telephone requests will not be accepted.
