N6852022R0018 Synopsis- Notice of Intent to Sole Source This is a combined RFI/Sources Sought/Notice of Intent issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 on behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD. This procurement is for the calibration, maintenance and repair of five (5) Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Attachment 1 at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) located in Jacksonville, FL.� FRCSE is an industrial facility that performs rework, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft, engines, and components.� To support the depot level maintenance operations, various industrial equipment along with equipment sustainment efforts are needed to meet fleet aircraft operational schedules, obtain solutions for product line obsolescence issues along with materially aged and technologically dated equipment that negatively impacts the command�s capacity to support 4th and 5th generation weapon systems.� The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, interested parties may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist, Elisa VanDevander at elisa.r.vandevander.civ@us.navy.mil.� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
