- This is a NOTICE to announce an upcoming Request for Whitepapers (RFWP) through the Sensors, Communications, and Electronics Consortium (SCEC) for the Development, Research, and Engineering of Advanced Transceiver Optical Module (ATOM) effort. The goal of this effort is to support the United States Army Futures Command, Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR) Research & Technology Integration Directorate (RTI), by maturing the manufacturing readiness level which will reduce schedule and cost and by eliminating re-design and re-develop cycles for similar LRF modules to fit specific platforms. This effort supports Sensors, Communications, and Electronics Research and Prototyping and the technological objective of reduction in size, weight and power costs-(SWaP-C). This request is issued according to the authority provided under 10 U.S.C. 2371b, Other Transaction Authority.
