Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Rockwell Collins, Inc. 400 Collins Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498, fortravel in support and will provide a means for Rockwell Collins Field Service Engineers (FSE) to travel within Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The intended award is for a Cost and service purchase order.� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) �Soliciting from a single source�. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The proposed contract action is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541330- Engineering Services. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this synopsis are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting documentation to Mrs. Danielle Beavers-Rose at danielle.beaversrose.civ@socom.mil, no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Time on 4 March 2022.
