- Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round (AUR) Integration into DDG1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyers / Mark (MK) 57 VLS The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-280, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to issue a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-20-G-0007 to Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona on a sole-source basis to perform all work necessary to complete the Tomahawk Block IV AUR Integration into DDG1000/MK57 Vertical Launching System (VLS). Tasking includes, but is not limited to, providing all material, labor, program management, and engineering. �Efforts addressed in this procurement will be in accordance with applicable military and contractor documents related to the Tomahawk Block IV AUR integration into the DDG 1000/MK57 VLS and which can be found in the Block IV AUR Performance Specification (PMA280-1029) and the Tomahawk Block IV Full Rate Production (FRP) contract. The period of performance anticipated for this effort will be 5 months, with one option for 12 months for a total anticipated period of performance of 17 months. The anticipated start date is June 2022. Raytheon is the sole manufacturer of the Tomahawk Missile System. �This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to RMD �in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" RMD is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the Tomahawk Cruise Missile and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort within the required schedule. Also, RMD is the only source that possesses the totality of engineering and technical data required to perform these efforts. NOTE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Navy. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The data associated with the Tomahawk Missile is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives.
