Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:� Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price supply contract for the procurement of four (4) Coolant Return Hoses, part number 13551036-1 to The Briggs Company, 3 Bellecor Drive, New Castle, DE 19720, CAGE code 335C0. This contract will be a one-time procurement. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer, Raytheon. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332919 - Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing. The size standard 750 employees. The Federal Supply Code is 4720 � Hose And Flexible Tubing. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements�, The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5. Solicitation number W911N2-22-Q-0023 will be released on or about 11 March 2022, with a closing date on or about 25 March 2022. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://sam.gov on or about 11 March 2022. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. It is noted that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database to receive a Government contract award. Offerors may register for SAM at: https://sam.gov.
