- This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from businesses that would be interested and capable of the types of Architect-Engineering Services noted below. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. Work does not include construction, only engineering services. The A&E Firm will develop a list of alternatives that could range from maintenance dredging through intake replacement, full design plans, specifications, environmental permit applications, and consultations for rehabilitation of an existing water intake. A draft Statement of Work is attached. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code will be 541330 � Engineering Services. The small business size standard is $16.5 Million. All business categories are invited to respond. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) DUNS Number. (3) Business type (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a) Program or other. (4) Provide up to three (3) examples of similar/relevant projects. Your firm shall identify if work was completed as the prime contractor, subcontractor, or joint venture. If your firm was a subcontractor, describe the services your firm provided. If your firm was the prime contractor, provide a project title, total contract amount, and location. Similar projects are defined as projects completed in the last five years related to intake structure designs that include preliminary analysis, reports, and surveying. Examples must demonstrate knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting requirements. Provide proof of current professional license to perform engineering services in Washington State.
