Description

DLA Distribution J7, New Cumberland, PA intends to extend services in accordance with (IAW) FAR clause 52.217-8, �Option to Extend Services�, through a modification to the existing DLA Distribution Contract SP3300-19-C-0002. This contract was established to provide support services for DLA transportation processes. In order to ensure continuity of services while long-term support is established; a short-term extension of the current contract may be required to provide on-going support. The extension will be in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, �Option to Extend Services� clause that is included in the contract. Accordingly, the Government intends to extend the current contract period to I B Logistics LLC. The period of performance will be extended up to six (6) months beginning on 09 March 2022. The contract action will be issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements�; during the interim period needed and any other alternative would create unacceptable delays in performing these services for DLA. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by March 8, 2022. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
